Wes Hampp is a managing director of First Capital Partners. He has more than 19 years of experience in investing and financial analysis. Since 1999, Wes has focused exclusively on investing in mezzanine debt and private equity in lower middle-market businesses.
Prior to joining First Capital Partners in 2007, Wes was a vice president at Capital For Business in St. Louis where he specialized in financing expansion and change of ownership transactions utilizing a combination of subordinated (mezzanine) debt and equity. Previously, he served as an associate analyst at A.G. Edwards in St. Louis. Before returning to his hometown of St. Louis, he was vice president in the private equity group at Spencer Trask Securities in Los Angeles and a vice president with Coast Asset Management.
Wes received a B.S. in business administration and an M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
