Young Park is a managing director at First Capital Partners. He has over 19 years of lending and investing experience throughout all levels of the corporate capital structure, from providing senior and mezzanine loans to acquiring companies with private equity.
Prior to joining First Capital Partners in 2008, Young co-managed a $300 million Special Opportunities Group at CapitalSource Finance LLC. Prior to CapitalSource, Young was vice president at Cardinal Growth LP, a Chicago-based $100 million private equity fund, where he made control and growth equity investments in lower middle-market companies across a diverse range of industries. Previously, he was with specialty lending arms of Bank of America and LaSalle Bank in Chicago, where he provided senior and subordinated (mezzanine) debt financing to private equity funds in support of middle-market company buyouts. Young began his career at NBD Bank (predecessor to JP Morgan Chase).
Young received a B.S. in accountancy from Northern Illinois University. He also holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
