Steve Heinen is a senior advisor to First Capital Partners. He was previously a managing director for the firm before leaving to focus on managing a business owned separately by he and his wife. Steve continues to source new investment opportunities for First Capital Partners on a part-time basis and remains involved with selected portfolio companies and as an investor in the firm's most recent fund. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, he was engaged in leveraged lending, mezzanine capital and private equity with various firms in Chicago. Steve received a BS in accounting from Drake University and an MBA from Northwestern University.
