Steve Heinen joins First Capital Partners to head its new Chicago office

First Capital Partners is pleased to announce that Steve Heinen has joined its team as a managing director and will be heading the firm's recently opened Chicago office. First Capital Partners is a junior capital investment firm headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska that invests both subordinated (mezzanine) debt and equity in privately-owned companies in the lower middle-market. 

Mr. Heinen has over 25 years of experience in Chicago, which has included senior positions in leveraged finance, subordinated debt lending, and equity investing. He was most recently a managing director in the Chicago office of Marquette Capital. Mr. Heinen earned an undergraduate degree from Drake University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He began his career in public accounting and has a certified public accountant (CPA) designation.
