Young Park is a managing director at First Capital Partners and is responsible for investment origination and execution as well as working with portfolio companies after closing. Previously, he co-managed a $300 million Special Opportunities Group at CapitalSource Finance. Prior to that Young was vice president at Cardinal Growth, a Chicago-based private equity fund focused on making control and growth equity investments. Before joining Cardinal Growth, he was with Bank of America and LaSalle Bank in Chicago providing leveraged financing in support of private equity-backed buyouts. He currently serves on the board of directors of Color Craft Graphic Arts, Jensen’s, Weather Blanket®, and Dakotaland Autoglass. Young received a BS in accounting from Northern Illinois University and also holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
